Cookie Policy
Last updated October 2, 2026
This policy explains how Bobbi uses cookies and similar technologies (like your browser's local storage) on joinbobbi.com, including the Bobbi Vendor Index at joinbobbi.com/vendors.
Your choice
When you first visit, we ask whether you accept analytics cookies. If you decline, or until you choose, we don't set analytics cookies or record sessions; we only count page views anonymously, without storing anything on your device. You can change your choice at any time:
What we use
| Name | Type | Purpose | Kept for |
|---|---|---|---|
bobbi.cookieConsent | Necessary (local storage) | Remembers whether you accepted or declined analytics cookies. | Until you change it or clear your browser data |
vs_s | Necessary (cookie) | Vendor Index only. Confirms searches come from the page itself, which protects the search from bots and abuse. Contains no personal information. | 7 days |
bobbiRole | Necessary (session storage) | Remembers whether you chose the clinic or professional view, so the welcome screen doesn't repeat. | Until you close the tab |
vendorsearch.view, vendorsearch.country | Preference (local storage) | Vendor Index only. Remembers the grid or list layout and the country filter you picked. | Until you clear your browser data |
ph_*_posthog and PostHog local storage | Analytics, only if you accept | Helps us understand how the site is used (pages visited, clicks, searches) and, with session recordings, where people get stuck. Provided by PostHog. | Up to 1 year |
Third parties
Analytics are provided by PostHog, which processes the data on our behalf in the United States. The Vendor Index loads fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address to deliver them but sets no cookies.
Managing cookies in your browser
Besides the choice above, you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the necessary ones may stop parts of the site, like Vendor Index search, from working properly.
